Bowel Cancer Awareness Event

Bowel cancer is the fourth most prevalent cancer in the UK, with nearly 44,000 new cases diagnosed annually. While the majority (94%) occur in individuals over 50, it can affect people of all ages. Each year, over 2,600 cases are identified in those under 50.

Caafihealth and Macmillan Cancer Support are collaborating on this mission to increase cancer survival rates and improve experiences for Black and minority communities.

At the event, you'll have the chance to:

  • Learn more about bowel cancer, signs, risk factors and symptoms

  • An opportunity to have your questions answered by health care professionals.

  • Learn more about the FIT test ( Faecal Immunochemical Test)

  • Free Refreshments

  • A free crèche will be available on the day, so you can enjoy the event without worrying about the little ones. Registration required.
